About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to lead our client’s financial operations and drive this Architectural Practice into the future. This senior role is pivotal in managing financial performance, ensuring stability, and supporting the organisation’s growth.
The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the UK and global economic landscape, alongside specific expertise within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy: Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy, aligning with business goals and market opportunities.
- Financial Stability: Ensure long-term financial health and stability through effective cash flow management and risk mitigation.
- Financial Operations: Oversee all financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and present accurate financial statements and reports to the board.
- Compliance: Examine financial data and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Financial Analysis: Provide insights into financial performance and support informed decision-making at the executive level.
- Team Management: Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strategic Insight: Strong understanding of the UK and global economies, with the ability to apply this insight to guide financial strategy.
