My client, a RIBA Chartered architectural practice with an international reputation for cutting-edge and sustainable Data Centre design, is seeking Architects of all levels to join their London studio. With studios in London, Chicago and Johannesburg, the practice delivers globally significant projects across the UK, Europe, and North America. Known for its collaborative approach, the studio balances creativity with technical excellence to deliver complex, mission-critical buildings. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and design-led team environment, contribute to major international projects, and develop within a specialist data centre design team.

Role Overview

Successful candidates will support the design and delivery of large-scale data centre projects, contributing to architectural layouts and integrating design and engineering inputs into coordinated, buildable solutions for client review and approval.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design and delivery of mid-to-large scale data centre projects
  • Contribute to architectural layouts and coordinated design development
  • Produce and develop high-quality technical drawings across RIBA stages
  • Integrate architectural and engineering information into unified design solutions
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary internal and external teams
  • Assist in coordinating consultant information and project documentation
  • Work across multiple international project teams as required
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all deliverables

Requirements

  • Qualified Architect (ARB registered or equivalent preferred)
  • Strong understanding of RIBA Plan of Work stages
  • Experience producing technical drawings to a high level of detail
  • Strong proficiency in Revit (essential)
  • Experience working on mid-to-large scale projects desirable
  • Strong communication skills with fluent English
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, inquisitive mindset
  • Strong organisational skills and willingness to learn
