Company Description: Planning Permission Experts are a team of chartered town planners with expert knowledge of the planning system. We are currently working on a broad range of projects of varying scales across multiple sectors including residential and commercial developments, telecommunications, enforcement and countryside policy.
Role Description: This is a part-time or full-time remote role for a Planning Consultant at Planning Permission Experts. The Planning Consultant will be responsible for analysing development proposals, compilation of documents necessary for planning application submissions, writing planning reports and planning appeals. The requirement is for a planner available to work between 5-35 hours per week. As the role will mainly involve drafting of reports and uploading of planning applications, the work can be undertaken outside of normal working hours.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience of the Northern Ireland Planning System is preferable and experience of ROI Planning System desirable
- Strong communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or related field
- 2 years experience minimum
- Ability to work to deadlines
