We’re looking for a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join our team in Selby.

The role

As our Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising staff as part of a team to undertake a wide range of grounds maintenance tasks and duties including sports pitch marking, hedge cutting, shrub and rose bed maintenance, as well as the use of grass cutters and other machinery.

What you will bring

  • Experience in managing staff and leading a team
  • Experience working within grounds maintenance
  • Experience in the use of ride-on and pedestrian grass cutting machinery
  • Knowledge and understanding of health and safety at work
  • Knowledge of play park inspections to ROSPA standard
  • A full driving licence is required as the role covers the district
