You will lead the operational management of the Council's corporate estate, ensuring assets are effectively managed, occupied and maintained to support service delivery. You will drive performance, customer service and compliance across a varied portfolio of operational and commercial assets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading estate management functions across the Council's portfolio.
- Managing landlord and tenant matters, rent reviews and lease compliance.
- Supporting asset optimisation and income generation initiatives.
- Providing professional estate management advice to Council services.
About You
We are looking for experienced and forward-thinking leaders who can demonstrate:
- Significant experience in a property, estates or asset management environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- A proven track record of delivering successful property outcomes and service improvements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness combined with a strong public service ethos.
- The ability to manage competing priorities within a complex organisation.
- Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS/FRICS) or an equivalent professional body is essential.
