Overview

Planned Systems International (PSI) is an Enterprise IT services company focusing on designing, building, securing, and operating cutting-edge software solutions that drive mission success and operational excellence for Federal Government organizations. We are seeking a Systems Administrator to support Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC). This role supports the global Command and Control Mission Systems (C2MS) program and contributes to the Systems/Network Administration team, maintaining C2MS networks in OCONUS locations.

Responsibilities

  • Apply industry standard systems administration and client administration.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues to include Dell, HP, Pivot3, VMWare, Citrix.
  • Create, track and resolve escalated service desk action items.
  • Maintain the security and stability of cross-domain enterprise level solutions.
  • Provide detailed technical solutions.
  • Build, install, move and/or breakdown systems on-site or remotely.
  • Create detailed technical reports and metrics.
  • Interact with customers and support personnel at on/off-site data centers.
  • Be familiar with Linux audit and reporting tasks.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in Systems Administration.
  • Hands-on experience with UNIX/LINUX in an Enterprise environment.
  • Active Top Secret/TS clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information.
  • Enterprise management experience including LDAP, configuration management tools, DNS, repositories, backups, and log management.
  • Troubleshooting experience of Enterprise-level environments.
  • Data Center experience.
  • Shell scripting experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Responsive Service Desk experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Knowledge in Electronic Flight Bags Systems Administration.

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds independently as part of regular job duties.
