Planned Systems International (PSI) is an Enterprise IT services company focused on designing, building, securing, and operating cutting-edge software solutions that drive mission success and operational excellence for Federal Government organisations. We are seeking an Airborne Mission Network FSR to work in a collaborative and innovative environment supporting our Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) program. You will be a critical part of the Network/System Administration team, maintaining the AFSOC networks in our OCONUS locations.
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure (servers, network, security, etc.) issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure appropriate function of hardware, software or system functional specifications.
- Provides system administration for assigned infrastructure and establishes and maintains security as it relates to users.
- Applies security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment.
- Analyses, troubleshoots and resolves issues with airborne mission systems including routers, switches, modems and network connectivity.
- Supports new infrastructure projects.
- Responsible for operation and proper handling of COMSEC material and encryption devices such as SKL.
- Performs configuration and mission data entry with Harris RF equipment such as PRC-117G/152A providing multiple waveform communication options to the customer.
- Maintains all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure.
Minimum Requirements
- 3 years experience in hands-on network/system administration.
- Active T3 investigation, with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information.
- CompTIA Security+ Certification.
- Knowledge of Special Operations, SOCOM, and C4ISR systems and networks.
- Knowledge of DoD information assurance, policy, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of and experience in Local Area Network (LAN) design, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and sustainment.
Physical Demands
Be able to lift, or assist with two person lift, approximately 50lbs.
