The predicted salary is between 50000 - 70000 £ per year.
As a Consultant, you will provide consultancy services and guidance to clients as well as support internal business requirements. Engagements will vary from short to long term placements and may be onsite with the client or even remote, depending on their requirements. Key to success in the role is the ability to build a relationship with the customer and their senior stakeholders while also fostering a culture of success within the team.
You are expected to have experience in several of the following areas:
- HLD/LLD of network, infrastructure or security as well as experience implementing solutions.
- Vulnerability Analysis, Management and scanning solutions experience: Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, etc.
- Firewall management and implementation: Cisco, Palo Alto, Sophos, Fortinet, etc.
- Strong Networking experience, with experience of load balancers and proxy technologies.
- Cloud Network design.
- Cloud Infrastructure design: IaaS, PaaS and/or SaaS.
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
- Knowledge of Security Policies and Guidance e.g. ISO, NIST, NCSC, MoD Security Standards and Policies.
Requirements
- Review statements of work with customers before commencing work.
- Interact and build relationships with senior client stakeholders, lead meetings and present when required.
- Produce required documentation.
- Conduct post-installation handover and signoff.
- Manage time effectively and have a consultative approach to multiple clients.
- Actively engage with company and external training.
- Quality Review other consultants reports, manage the workload of junior consultants, engineers and technicians (including verification of quality).
- Grow the business by identifying further support opportunities with existing and potential new clients.
- Work competently on an independent basis.
- Work collaboratively in a multidiscipline team.
Desired Certifications:
- Certified Professional (CCP) scheme, Senior in SIRA or IA Architect.
- CCNA level certification and experience within industry.
- Microsoft Associate or Expert certified and experience within industry.
- SANS 4xx level.
- Security+.
