About Us

We’re a fully funded AI startup, based in Hammersmith and soon opening our second office in Cardiff.

At Planna, we build tools that help people make smarter decisions about their homes — whether that’s diagnosing a boiler issue, planning a loft conversion, or finding a trusted roofer. Our patent-pending AI technology cuts through the noise and helps homeowners figure out what really matters, whether they want to save money, live more sustainably, or boost the long-term value of their biggest asset.

We also work with banks, insurers, and household brands to offer the right products to the right customers at the right time — powered by real-time insights into every home.

With growing monthly users and major partnerships in the works, it’s a great time to join us and help shape what comes next.

The Role

We’re looking for a sharp, hands-on Business & Operations Lead to join our team. You’ll be working closely with the founders on everything from partnerships and product launches to internal ops and customer success.

This is a wide-ranging, high-impact role — ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, has great instincts, and enjoys making things happen.

Who You Are

  • You’ve got 2–3+ years of experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments (startups, scaleups, or relevant industry).
  • You’re a clear and confident communicator — both in writing and in person.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail – nothing slips through the cracks with you.
  • You’re a doer — great at taking a plan and turning it into action.
  • You’re proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable handling ambiguity.
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders and execs – you’re great in the room.
  • You’re based in (or happy to travel to) Cardiff 2–3 days a week.

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Experience in insurance, banking, or property
  • Confidence with tools like Trello, GSuite, Figma, Slack
  • A good eye for decks and internal docs (Canva, Keynote, etc.)
  • Experience setting up internal processes and systems from scratch

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a role with loads of variety — no two weeks will look the same. You’ll be at the heart of the business, helping things run smoothly and pushing big projects forward.

  • Keep the internal rhythm of the company ticking — team meetings, OKRs, check-ins
  • Prepare materials for fundraising, partnerships, and internal updates
  • Build simple, scalable systems and processes to support our growth
  • Help manage key relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Support our public presence — from social media to events and conferences
  • Jump into high-priority projects and help solve problems across the business
  • Keep our team aligned — improving communication, removing blockers, and keeping everyone moving forward
  • Organise and lead product demos

What We Offer

  • Equity options
  • New MacBook
  • Online learning subscription
  • Flexible hybrid working (2–3 days a week in our Cardiff office)
  • 28 days holiday (plus your birthday off)
  • Annual pay review
  • Autonomy, ownership, and the chance to shape a growing company
  • A friendly, supportive work environment where work-life balance matters

How to Apply

Send us your CV and a short cover letter telling us why this role is a great fit for you.

  • You’ll start with a coffee chat in Cardiff with our Head of Product
  • Then a follow-up call with our CEO and founder

To apply email your CV and cover letter to careers@planna.co
