Plank Hardware is looking for a Junior Buyer to join our product team. This is a hands-on role covering the full development journey — from initial concept through briefing, costing, supplier management and sample tracking, right through to the product going live on site. You'll work closely with design, brand, marketing and logistics, and take ownership of pricing and range decisions along the way. We're a fast-moving, detail-oriented team, and increasingly an AI-native one — you'll be expected to use tools like Claude and Cowork to work faster and smarter, not just to be comfortable with them.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage product developments end-to-end: concept → brief → costing → supplier comms → sample tracking → design sign-off → live on site
- Research and develop newness, creating clear briefs for suppliers
- Manage the critical path, ensuring products hit key dates to launch on time
- Work closely with design, brand, marketing and logistics teams to ensure a smooth, joined-up launch process
