As we enter the next phase of our Strategic Plan, we're looking for a talented Senior Urban Designer to join our growing Urban Design team in Altrincham.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape some of the UK's most ambitious urban regeneration and place-making projects while contributing to a practice committed to regenerative design and positive change.

Our Altrincham studio is home to our largest Urban Design team and plays a key role in delivering projects across Greater Manchester and the wider North West. We are proud to contribute to the transformation of cities, towns and communities through thoughtful, people-centred design.

You'll work on a diverse portfolio of projects and strategies responding to some of today's most pressing challenges, including:
- Social inclusion and healthier communities
- Economic regeneration and place-based growth
- Climate resilience and environmental stewardship
- Regenerative design and sustainable development

- Derby City Centre Public Realm Strategy
- Liverpool Waters
As we continue to expand our Urban Design capability across the UK, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to projects that shape the future of places and communities.
About You
We're looking for a thoughtful, driven and design-led professional who is passionate about urban design and regenerative practice.
You will ideally have:
- A strong understanding of the UK planning system and urban regeneration processes
- Experience delivering urban design projects from concept through to completion
- Excellent strategic thinking and design skills
- The ability to manage projects, programmes and budgets effectively
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and CAD software (Vectorworks experience would be advantageous)
- A postgraduate qualification (or equivalent) in Urban Design or a related discipline
- At least 5 years' relevant professional experience
