About the role
Planex Controls are currently recruiting experienced Project Controls professionals to support a range of major project opportunities across Scotland. We are keen to speak with individuals across the following disciplines:
- Project Planning
- Quantity Surveying
- Risk Management
- Cost Engineering / Cost Management
- Earned Value Management
- API / Project Analytics Engineering
Successful candidates will support complex, high value programmes across sectors including Nuclear, Defence, Petrochemical, Energy and Pharma. Depending on the role, responsibilities may include programme planning and scheduling, cost management, risk analysis, earned value reporting, project controls governance, reporting and analytics support, stakeholder engagement, and integration of contractor and subcontractor schedules within wider project environments.
Experience & Qualifications
Must Have:
- 5+ years experience within Project Controls or related disciplines
- Experience supporting projects valued at £100m+
- Strong understanding of planning, cost, risk and reporting principles
- Experience working within complex or highly regulated project environments
- Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills
- Eligible for UK baseline personnel security screening (BPSS) and potentially SC/DV
Desirable:
- Previous SC Clearance or previously held SC Clearance
- Experience within Nuclear, Defence, Petrochemical or Pharma sectors
- Primavera P6, Power BI, ERP or project analytics experience
- Major infrastructure or capital project experience
- Commercial and subcontractor interface experience
