Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance tasks across the site, including basic repairs, equipment maintenance, and the upkeep of buildings and external areas.
- Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
- Respond to reactive maintenance issues as directed.
- Assist with monitoring site services and equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Conduct regular safety checks, identify hazards and report issues.
- Assist with waste management and maintain site cleanliness.
- Support contractor activities when required.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Act as a keyholder, responsible for daily site checks and shutdowns.
- Operate as part of an Out of Hours response team.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a maintenance or hands-on environment.
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
- Practical skills in general maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of manual tasks such as lifting and bending.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Competency with electrics and a forklift licence are advantageous but not essential.
