Working as part of a friendly and supportive housekeeping team, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming environment for students, Fellows, staff and visitors while ensuring the College's accommodation is maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare student bedrooms, guest accommodation, bathrooms and communal areas to an exceptional standard.
- Make beds and prepare rooms for arriving students, conference delegates and guests.
- Maintain offices, stairways, corridors and public spaces in accordance with cleaning schedules.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Report maintenance issues, damages and health & safety concerns promptly.
- Provide cover for colleagues during periods of annual leave or sickness where required.
- Work across different College sites when necessary.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working as part of a team.
Ideally you will have:
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (hotel, college or similar environment desirable).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good spoken and written English.
- A positive and professional attitude.
- The ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends when required.
Hours of Work
- Part-time position.
- 37.5 hours per week.
- Shifts between 6:30am and 4:00pm.
- Working 5 days out of 7, including occasional weekends.
