The Role
As an Assembly Operative, you will work within the Assembly department dealing with the manufacture, test, and inspection of sub‑assemblies to ensure production targets are met.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the manufacture of sub‑assemblies as directed by the Cell Leader / Logistics Manager.
- Adopt good workmanship and quality standards.
- Carry out assembly duties in a timely and orderly manner per production schedules.
- Assist in other areas of the manufacturing process as and when required.
- Maintain workstation, tools, and any equipment including PPE in a clean and tidy state.
- Ensure strict adherence to the company's Health and Safety policy and operate in accordance with all other company policies and procedures.
- Carry out tasks and duties as required by senior management.
About You
Applicants should have a can‑do attitude, be self‑motivated, and able to work on their own initiative. Experience working with conventional workshop power and hand tools is essential. You will need to be proficient in reading drawings, following work instructions, and procedures. Demonstrating good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise work is crucial.
