About The Role:
This is a junior position within our finance team, to assist the more senior management accountants in the delivery of timely and accurate financial information. The main deliverable will be in assisting and supporting the Management Accountant with the preparation of the monthly and year-end accounts. This position gives exposure to all areas of the finance function, with focus on Projects, and you will be coached by the Senior members of the team, to become a fully qualified accountant, with additional professional development opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Prepare monthly accruals and prepayments
- Manage fixed assets and depreciation calculations
- Process monthly journals
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- SAP Business One Key User Learning on the job
- Processing of Fortnightly Ltd Company Payrolls
- Support of collation of documentation for Project Audits
- Support Accounts Payables Processing invoices if required
- End to end contract reporting
- Assist with year-end audit
- Sales ledger and credit control management
- Studying AAT / ACCA / CIMA whilst working at the company
