Role Overview

We are seeking a highly capable Senior Product Manager to lead key transformation initiatives across E‑Invoicing, Automated Onboarding, and Automated Billing Setup. This role sits at the heart of Planet’s Boarding and Billing evolution, driving systemic, platform, and process change across multiple functions. You will work across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Billing, Finance Operations, Revenue Assurance, Compliance, and external vendor partners to design, deliver, and embed scalable solutions. You will operate comfortably at executive level while also being hands‑on with technical detail, ensuring clarity and alignment from discovery through to delivery and go‑live. This is a high‑impact role requiring exceptional execution discipline, technical fluency, and the ability to simplify complexity for diverse stakeholder groups.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead E‑Invoicing & Regulatory Digitalisation: Own the delivery of Planet’s regulatory invoicing programme (B2B & B2G), including mandatory e‑invoicing, e‑reporting, and AP digitalisation. Drive integration across Planet platforms, internal tools, and a third‑party industry‑leading provider. Act as the key link between Solutions, Architecture, Engineering, Compliance, Finance and external vendors. Define requirements, align technical architecture, oversee test planning, lead UAT, and secure implementation sign‑off. Communicate confidently at exec level while working deeply with SMEs to resolve technical detail. Ensure programme compliance with regulatory timelines and alignment with Planet’s billing and financial operations.
  • Deliver Automated Onboarding Across Acquiring & Non‑Acquiring Products: Lead the design and delivery of automated merchant onboarding journeys across multiple product lines. Streamline service activation workflows, onboarding checks, and downstream system set‑up. Reduce manual effort and accelerate signature‑to‑revenue processes. Partner with Sales Ops, Risk, Compliance, Engineering and CRM teams to define and deliver scalable future‑state onboarding.
  • Build Automated Billing Setup Capabilities: Own the roadmap and delivery for automated billing configuration aligned to onboarding workflows. Improve accuracy of merchant set‑up to reduce billing errors, leakage, and rework. Shape billing processes and systems that enable scale across legacy and future‑state platforms. Work closely with Finance Ops, Billing, Revenue Assurance, Data and wider transformation teams.
  • Product Ownership & Delivery Execution: Define clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and release plans. Ensure delivery against scope, cost, timelines, and quality. Maintain accountability for cross‑functional outcomes and unblock delivery across teams. Operate confidently in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with Engineering, Architecture, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Commercial and external technology providers. Ensure alignment across teams and facilitate decision‑making in complex multi‑stakeholder environments. Prepare and present clear, concise updates for senior leadership and governance forums.
  • Data, Insight & Impact Monitoring: Use data and feedback loops to understand performance and drive iterative improvement. Measure impact on billing accuracy, onboarding efficiency, cash flow, and merchant experience. Support transformation linked to CRM workflows, hierarchy improvements, merchant records and future‑state boarding & billing.

Who You Are

Strong product manager with experience delivering complex, cross‑functional change in fast‑paced environments. Skilled collaborator able to work effectively with Engineering, Architecture, Finance, Operations, Compliance and external partners. Technically fluent: comfortable understanding integrations, data flows, system constraints and working closely with SMEs. Exceptional communicator who can simplify complexity and tailor messaging for executives and technical audiences. Highly structured, organised, and delivery‑focused with a strong bias for action and problem‑solving. Proven track record of delivering against scope, budget, timelines, and quality expectations. Analytical mindset with strong understanding of billing flows, revenue assurance, merchant lifecycle accuracy, and cash‑flow levers. Able to manage ambiguity, drive alignment, and maintain momentum across multiple stakeholders. Comfortable working across geographies with occasional travel to operational hubs. Experience in payments, billing, revenue, collections, merchant onboarding, or regulatory digitalisation is highly advantageous.
