We are currently recruiting for a Transport Operations Administrator on behalf of our client in Thame, Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to join a busy logistics team, supporting the coordination of vehicle collections and deliveries while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaising with insurance companies, recovery agents, bodyshops, and customers to arrange vehicle collections and deliveries.
- Supporting driver and vehicle scheduling to maximise efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Assisting with route planning in line with driver regulations, including driving hours, breaks, and rest periods.
- Communicating with drivers throughout the day and resolving operational issues professionally.
- Ensuring service standards and contractual obligations are consistently met.
- Providing general administrative support within the transport operation.
About You
- Previous experience within transport, logistics, or operational administration.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, can-do attitude with good attention to detail.
- Basic vehicle knowledge or experience within the automotive/salvage sector is advantageous.
