About the Role
Planet Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a college in Oxford for a permanent full‑time maintenance handyperson starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Minor plumbing repairs, heating and hot/cold‑water system maintenance
- Basic carpentry – replacing damaged doors, windows or furniture
- Replacement of faulty white goods and appliances
- General painting and replacement of kitchen units
- Clearing blocked drains
- Fire alarm testing and checking of lifts and elevators
- Lawn mowing, hedge trimming and weeding (grounds maintenance)
- Travel between college sites – a full driving licence is required
- On‑call for 1 week in 5 to assist with emergencies
- Work 40 hours per week
