We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Yard/Quality Operative to join a busy automotive operation based in Rochester. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring vehicles meet quality standards before progressing through the operational process.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out quality control inspections on vehicles in line with company standards
- Identify and report any defects, damages, or inconsistencies
- Complete inspection checklists accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all vehicles are processed within required timeframes
- Work closely with operational and yard teams to maintain workflow
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations at all times
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Basic knowledge of vehicles (preferred but not essential)
