We are working with a company that is internationally recognised in what they do and are helping millions of people around the world live a better life. They are looking to add a Network Engineer to their global infrastructure team, to support, maintain, and evolve their global enterprise network. Working closely with architects and cross-functional teams, you will help deliver seamless connectivity that powers the digital health platforms and global operations.
To be considered for this position you will need to have 3 plus years' experience of working in a similar position.
Key Responsibilities- Operations & Support: Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain network hardware, software, and connections to ensure optimal performance.
- Implementation: Configure and deploy switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers in line with architecture standards.
- Collaboration: Work with architects, security, and cloud teams to implement integrated, secure, and scalable solutions.
- Optimization: Identify and resolve network bottlenecks, enhance efficiency, and ensure high availability.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed network diagrams, runbooks, and configuration standards.
- Security & Compliance: Support enforcement of security protocols, patch management, and compliance with global frameworks.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to network design and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in network administration or engineering.
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, load balancers, and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS).
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) preferred.
- Problem-solving mindset with strong communication skills and collaborative approach.
