We are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager in the Fire & Security industry. The successful candidate will have relevant experience in the role, this may suit someone wanting to move 'off the tools'. This role would suit a highly organised individual with strong leadership skills and the ability to build strong relationships to manage multiple ongoing projects.
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the Electronic Fire / Security industry and a proven background in Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Door Entry Systems.
Job Purpose: Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
What are we expecting from you?
- To manage multiple installations ranging from £10k to £250k.
- To take responsibility for the full project management life cycle including client liaison, estimating, engineering solutions, procurement, and resourcing.
- To be responsible for delivering both high quality installations/projects whilst achieving commercial objectives including delivering the project on budget.
- To ensure all variations to specifications are picked up and costed accordingly and delivered in line with client expectations.
- To perform risk management to reduce potential risks.
A strong technical understanding of these systems and experience working with them is essential.
