An innovative advanced manufacturing organisation is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Production Technical Operator to join its growing production team. The company develops and manufactures high-value technology products for a range of specialist industries and operates within a clean, precision-controlled manufacturing environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in advanced manufacturing. Full training will be provided, making this role suitable for candidates with little or no direct experience, although previous manufacturing or technical experience would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will support production operations, quality control activities, product testing, inspection, assembly, and packaging processes while contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor specialised production equipment following established procedures and work instructions.
- Support manufacturing processes within a controlled production environment.
- Conduct product inspections and quality checks using a range of testing and measurement techniques.
- Carry out product assembly, preparation, and packaging activities as required.
- Assist in maintaining production targets, efficiency, and quality standards.
- Follow cleanroom, health & safety, and operational protocols.
- Record production data accurately and complete required documentation.
- Support equipment performance monitoring and report any issues to relevant teams.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation activities.
- Contribute to internal quality audits and compliance activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across production, quality, and engineering teams.
- Experience working within a manufacturing, production, assembly, or technical environment is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Reliable, organised, and capable of taking ownership of assigned tasks.
