Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced ADR Van Driver to transport hazardous materials safely and efficiently in compliance with ADR regulations and company procedures. The successful candidate will ensure all deliveries are completed on time while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport hazardous goods in accordance with ADR regulations and company policies
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Ensure all delivery documentation and ADR paperwork is completed accurately
- Load and unload hazardous materials safely, following correct procedures
- Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes
- Maintain communication with the transport office regarding schedules and delays
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, roadworthy, and compliant at all times
- Deliver goods professionally while providing excellent customer service
Requirements
- ADR Certificate (packages and/or tanks preferred)
- Good knowledge of UK road transport laws and ADR regulations
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Good communication and organisational skills
Experience
- Previous experience in ADR or hazardous goods transport preferred
- Experience in multi-drop deliveries is advantageous
