Our clients IT Services Department is seeking an IT Technician to join their growing IT Team. Working closely with the IT Manager, you will need to have strong communication skills as you will be talking to people at all levels and will need to communicate effectively. It is essential that you have worked at a 1st/2nd line level to be considered for this position. Having previously worked in an educational environment would be a massive plus for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support for staff and pupils.
- Support classroom technology, staff devices, printers, audio-visual equipment and other digital services used across the school.
- Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical issues, escalating more complex problems to senior colleagues where appropriate.
- Assist with the setup, maintenance and deployment of iPads, Apple Macs, Windows PCs and other devices.
- Help ensure that classroom and staff technology is reliable, well-maintained and ready for day-to-day use.
- Support school events, performances and other activities where technology plays a role.
Technical Skills
- Experience supporting Apple devices, iPads or Microsoft Windows devices would be advantageous.
- Active Directory
- Office 365
