Salary: Β£35,000 – Β£40,000

Hours: 37.5 per week between Monday-Friday

Profile

My client is a growing MSP based in Oxford and due to continued growth, they are looking to add a IT Project Engineer to their team.

The IT Project Engineer will be responsible for project planning, engineering, and management tasks to optimise IT systems for clients. You will need to be highly organised and have strong communication skills as you will collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project success.

To be considered for this position you will need to have proven experience of involvement in IT project work.

Key Responsibilities

Identify IT solutions to problems with the guidance of Projects Manager
Assist with writing proposal documents
Assist with management of projects with the guidance of Projects Manager
Liaison with customer stakeholders to provide timely updates on project status
Liaison with customer end users as needed for training and handoverEssential Skills

Microsoft 365:

Exchange Online
SharePoint/OneDrive
Intune
Entra ID- Knowledge of business backup software (e.g. Veeam)

– On-premise Windows Server systems:

Active Directory / Windows DHCP inc failover / DNS
Hyper-VA strong grounding of networking, including:

IP addressing and subnetting
Switching and routing
VLANsYou will need a vehicle to be considered for this position as you will be attending client sites.
