Position: Quality Inspector (Shifts)
Location: Hengoed, South Wales
Salary: Β£26,000 - Β£27,500 per year
Principal Accountabilities- The role will initially largely revolve around learning the new product and quality control measures required for this product introduction.
- The role will thereafter rotate between different product areas.
- Maintain quality requirements through ensuring all production is to the standard of the customer drawings and internal instructions.
- Audit product quality on shop floor.
- Ensure all Quality paperwork and samples are present and signed off by relevant parties.
- Complete hourly, 2 hourly or any specific timed visual, fit and dimensional checks on all components and record results for production, sample parts and processes.
- A background in quality will be needed for this role.
- CMM experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Preferred is a background in injection moulding however this is not mandatory.
- As a minimum; attention to detail, communication skills, work with numbers and computers.
- Offsite/cross site training provided.
