Planet Recruitment are looking for an experienced General Builder to join our client in a permanent full-time position.
The candidate will be working within a team, helping to establish the initial set up of the sites, demolition and enabling works, groundworks, structural alterations, propping and steels, helping to plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from start to finish.
Candidates should have their own vehicle and tools, experience as a Bricklayer or Carpenter preferred.
The role will suit a candidate with experience in the following
General residential building work.
Temporary works and structural propping.
Forming structural openings and installing steels.
Reading and working from structural engineers' drawings.
Taking responsibility for setting out and completing structural elements of a project.
General building work from basic carpentry to tiling a bathroom.
Installing and repairing different types of building components, such as foundations, framing, and finishes.
Ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
Communicating with clients and other stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences.
