Planet Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Administrator to join our client based in central Oxford. This is a temporary position.
Responsibilities
- Provide the Head of Maintenance and Maintenance Works Supervisor with a high level of administrative support.
- Keep accurate records of planned and reactive maintenance.
- Ensure that maintenance of plant and equipment is undertaken at the correct intervals.
- Assist with the planning and co-ordinating of larger projects.
- Organise meetings with contractors on site and diarise at the request of the Head of Maintenance or Maintenance Works Supervisor.
- Keep a record of estimates and invoices.
- Maintain accurate COSHH records and ensure that risk assessments are kept up to date.
- Record actions from fire, health & safety, insurance inspections and bring them to the attention of the Head of Maintenance.
- Distribute information to contractors e.g. drawings and specs.
- Place orders with suppliers as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor and Head of Maintenance within approved financial limits.
- Schedule all legislative inspections e.g. lifting inspections, pressure systems, refrigeration FGas and gas safe certifications.
- Input monthly energy data.
- Play an active part in the Colleges evolving sustainability plan.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrator position.
- Be highly organised.
- Able to organise your own workload.
- Knowledge of health and safety documentation.
