Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum

The Role: As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will work within the Logistics Department dealing with the management of raw materials and component stock to ensure efficient storage, control, and housekeeping.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coordinate, and support a team of Logistics operatives.
- Enforce health and safety regulations and ensure the team follows best practices.
- Monitor and manage the storage, kitting, and dispatch of goods and materials.
- Ensure stock levels are accurately maintained and recorded in the inventory management system.
- Implement FIFO and monitor product life cycles.
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist with audits.
- Allocate tasks and monitor team performance to ensure KPIs and deadlines are met.
- Report and investigate discrepancies or damages in stock or deliveries.
- Assist with training new team members and upskilling existing staff.
- Liaise with procurement, production, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse area.
- Support the team on the floor and drive FLTs when required.
About You: Applicants should have strong leadership and organisational skills, and experience working with warehouse/logistics procedures. You will need to be proficient in inventory management systems and demonstrate a commitment to health and safety.
Required:
- Previous team management experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Computer literacy.
- Forklift licence (counterbalance).
- Good standard of education, with GCSEs in English and Mathematics.
