Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare student bedrooms, guest accommodation, bathrooms and communal areas to an exceptional standard.
- Make beds and prepare rooms for arriving students, conference delegates and guests.
- Maintain offices, stairways, corridors and public spaces in accordance with cleaning schedules.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Use cleaning materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Report maintenance issues, damages and health & safety concerns promptly.
- Carry out daily housekeeping duties in line with College procedures and quality standards.
- Provide cover for colleagues during periods of annual leave or sickness where required.
- Work across different College sites when necessary.
- Attend training sessions and team meetings to support ongoing development.
- Ensure all duties are completed in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, including COSHH and manual handling procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (hotel, college or similar environment desirable).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good spoken and written English.
- A positive and professional attitude.
- The ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends when required.
Hours of Work
Full-time position. 37.5 hours per week. Shifts between 6:30am and 4:00pm. Working 5 days out of 7, including occasional weekends. Overtime opportunities may be available.
