Planet Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Goods In Operative / Reach Truck Driver to join a busy and growing warehouse operation based in Bicester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a valid Reach Truck Licence who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is looking for a long-term position with great benefits and career development opportunities.
Working Hours
- Day Shifts: 6:00am - 3:00pm or 12:00pm - 9:00pm
- Night Shift: 9:00pm - 6:00am
The Role
As a Goods In Operative / Reach Truck Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring all inbound deliveries are received, processed, and stored accurately while maintaining high standards of safety and organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Reach Truck safely and efficiently
- Receiving and checking deliveries into the warehouse
- Processing delivery paperwork accurately
- Logging, signing off and booking stock into the system
- Distributing deliveries to the relevant departments
- Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams
- Assisting with stock counts and inventory control
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe goods-in area
- Supporting waste management and general warehouse housekeeping
- Following all health & safety procedures at all times
What We're Looking For
- Valid Reach Truck Licence (Essential)
- Previous experience within a warehouse or goods-in environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, hardworking and self-motivated
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical duties
- Flexible approach with a positive attitude
