Role: Microsoft Pre-Sales Solutions Specialist Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire (Hybrid) Salary: £60,000 - £90,000 ‍Profile Planet Recruitment are proud to be working with a fast-growing organisation based in the Abingdon area who are looking for a Microsoft Pre-Sales Solutions Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to join them at a key stage of growth and help shape the next chapter of their Microsoft capability. Microsoft is a major part of that growth. With established customer relationships, strong technical capability and a growing portfolio of Microsoft services, they are looking for an experienced Microsoft Pre-Sales Solution Specialist to help take their Microsoft proposition to the next level. This is much more than a traditional pre-sales role. We are looking for someone who can get in front of customers, understand their challenges, identify opportunities and turn those conversations into commercially valuable Microsoft solutions. Key Responsibilities Working alongside Account Managers to identify and develop Microsoft opportunities. Leading customer discovery meetings, workshops and assessments. Understanding customers' Microsoft estates, licensing, cloud environments and security requirements. Identifying opportunities to optimise, modernise, secure or transform customer environments. Translating technical challenges into clear business and commercial outcomes. Designing high-level Microsoft solutions and architectures. Developing proposals, roadmaps, Statements of Work and business cases. Presenting solutions to technical and senior business stakeholders.Experience we are looking for Strong Microsoft pre-sales, solution consulting or solution architecture experience. Excellent Microsoft 365 knowledge. Good Azure technical and commercial understanding. Strong understanding of Microsoft's security stack. Working knowledge of Copilot and Microsoft's wider AI proposition. Experience within an MSP, Microsoft Partner or technology consultancy is strongly preferred.
