The Role We are looking for a Workshop Assistant to join our busy team.
This is a hands-on role supporting the daily running of the workshop, ensuring smooth operations, and assisting with production tasks.
You'll play an important part in maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
Responsibilities Assisting with the setup and operation of cutting machinery Handling and preparing materials for cutting Carrying out quality checks on finished products Packing and dispatching customer orders Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment Supporting senior machinists and engineers with day-to-day tasks Skills Qualities Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail Ability to follow instructions and work accurately under pressure Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Previous workshop or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential - training will be provided
