Position; TRAINEE F&S TECHNICIAN Location; Abingdon, Oxfordshire Salary; £24,000 – £25,000 per annum with long term progression Planet Recruitment are seeking a Trainee Technician for one of our fast-growing organisations based in Abingdon. No experience required however, would need access to your own transport and a driving licence (with no more than 6 points). This position may also be suited to someone who has studied engineering at college / university. The role; The role offers the successful candidate the chance to learn new skills and knowledge within an industry which offers long-term opportunities. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm with a 4pm finish on a Friday Main responsibilities; Carry out inspection, tests and a thorough examination of clients fire alarms and protection equipment within their facilities Drive the company vehicle to and from site visits ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and today at all times. Excellent customer service skills ensuring every customer is given the same service. Ensuring a polite and courteous manner is given to every customer. About you; You will be dealing with customers face to face and over the telephone and responding to urgent enquiries. Required;
