Our client based in Swindon is looking for a HGV Class 2 driver to join their team assisting customers with the safe transit of their goods to personal locations and businesses.
The Role:
- You will work with a team of drivers and porters to ensure the safe transit of people's personal items to various destinations.
- Full Class 2 licence, with no more than 6 points on your licence.
- Dealing with customers face to face and over the telephone.
- Safe manual handling of goods, on and off the vehicle.
- Hours of work are generally from 6am each morning depending on work required for the day.
- This is a temporary to permanent position and applicants should apply with this in mind.
About You:
- Class 2 Licence with a minimum of 2 years experience.
- Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification.
- Self-motivated team player.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to complete lifting of heavy materials.
- Successful applicants should be within a commutable distance of Thame.
