Role: IT Support Engineer – 2nd Line
Salary: 32k
Location: Wallingford
As a leading technology provider, our client uses the latest technologies to manage and maintain their customers' IT systems. Operating at the forefront of their industry, they work very closely with a range of schools and colleges and are now looking to recruit an IT Support Engineer who will be site based at a leading independent school in Wallingford, Oxfordshire.
Primary Purpose :
The role is varied and interesting, working with leading technologies in a school who are investing in enterprise grade infrastructure to support next generation teaching and learning..
As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for resolving all user support issues, as well as administration of the school's network and IT systems.
To be considered for this role, you must have experience of supporting and administering some of the following technologies:
– Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365
– Microsoft Server 2019 / 2022
– Wired and wireless networks, firewalls and content filters
– PC's, Laptops, mobile devices and audio-visual systems
– Intune
Most importantly, as an IT Support Engineer, it is essential that you are a clear and logical thinker with a quality approach to customer service. You should also be a good communicator with excellent social skills, ensuring that the teaching and support staff at the school are kept up-to-date with the progress of issue resolution.
