About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for motivating, supporting and developing a team of Quality Inspectors while ensuring production and quality standards are consistently met. Working closely with the Shift Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly and resolving issues quickly to minimise disruption. This role is primarily based in Chichester, with occasional travel to the company's site in Bognor Regis.
Shift patterns (Rotations): Monday to Friday - 5:30am to 2:15pm/ 2:15pm to 11:15pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate and support a team of 5-10 Quality Inspectors (larger teams during busy periods)
- Allocate work and organise daily priorities
- Ensure all team members have the correct PPE, equipment and materials to carry out inspections
- Monitor quality standards and ensure work is completed in line with customer requirements
- Work closely with supervisors to resolve production and quality issues quickly
- Support the creation of work instructions, risk assessments and other quality documentation
- Carry out quality inspections alongside your team when required
