Job Description Housekeeper Location: Cambridge Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Β£26,227.50 per annum Key Responsibilities Clean and prepare student bedrooms, guest accommodation, bathrooms and communal areas to an exceptional standard. Make beds and prepare rooms for arriving students, conference delegates and guests. Maintain offices, stairways, corridors and public spaces in accordance with cleaning schedules. Replenish cleaning supplies and ensure stock levels are maintained. Use cleaning materials and equipment safely and efficiently. Report maintenance issues, damages and health & safety concerns promptly. Carry out daily housekeeping duties in line with College procedures and quality standards. Provide cover for colleagues during periods of annual leave or sickness where required. Work across different College sites when necessary. Attend training sessions and team meetings to support ongoing development. Ensure all duties are completed in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, including COSHH and manual handling procedures. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working as part of a team. Ideally you will have: Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (hotel, college or similar environment desirable). Excellent attention to detail. Good spoken and written English. A positive and professional attitude. The ability to work independently as well as within a team. Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends when required. Hours of Work ~ Full-time position. ~37.5 hours per week. ~ Shifts between 6:30am and 4:00pm. ~ Working 5 days out of 7, including occasional weekends. ~ Overtime opportunities may be available.
