Branch Manager - Automotive Location: Kingston upon Thames Salary: £38,110 basic salary + OTE £48,000-£50,000 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Pattern: Monday-Saturday rota, no Sunday working The Opportunity Planet Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Branch Manager to join a successful and established automotive business operating across the Home Counties. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fast-fit automotive professional to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a busy branch, leading a team, managing performance and ensuring consistently high levels of customer service. The successful candidate will combine strong commercial awareness with hands-on automotive knowledge and the ability to motivate and lead a team in a target-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the branch Ensure branch budgets and commercial targets are achieved Lead, manage and develop the branch team Communicate company and branch targets effectively Monitor and manage stock levels Deal with customer enquiries face-to-face, over the telephone and online Maintain consistently high standards of customer service Support workshop operations and undertake hands-on duties when required Recruit, interview, induct and engage new members of staff Ensure company policies, procedures and operational standards are followed Lead by example and create a positive, motivated working environment About You The successful Branch Manager will ideally have: Proven experience working within a fast-fit automotive or tyre centre environment Strong knowledge of tyres and routine mechanical work Previous experience managing and developing a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A proven ability to work towards and achieve commercial targets A hands-on approach to management Strong customer service skills The ability to motivate and engage a team A good understanding of operational processes and compliance The energy and drive to succeed within a fast-paced, target-led environment Working Hours Monday-Friday: 08:00-18:00 Saturday: 08:30-17:00 One weekday off on a rota basis for three out of every four weeks, plus one Saturday off every four weeks.
