The Role:
- As a WI Creator, you will be the linchpin within the operations department, managing supplier communications and ensuring no production downtime for customers.
- Your role will be pivotal in maintaining project efficiency and quality.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for supplier emails, prioritising workload to ensure efficiency.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain job authorisation and understand account status with finance.
- Attend issue locations to gather project information, including photographs, samples, and defect data.
- Create and maintain project Work Instructions and configure projects within the QTrak system.
- Complete project-specific Risk Assessments and Process FMEAs.
- Maintain the Project Tracker, recording all relevant timestamps.
- Develop Initial Training Documents to ensure project personnel receive necessary training and authorisation.
- Ensure warehouse stock is requested to operational areas at project start.
- Review project requirements to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Coordinate customer reviews, approvals, and project sign-offs.
- Escalate concerns or issues that may impact project success.
- Ensure all project documentation is completed and controlled prior to project launch.
- Maintain and update the G&P Project Tracker to reflect current project status.
- Ensure accurate shift handovers with all required information.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Experience in project management or a similar role.
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
