Our client is looking for a proactive and skilled ICT Technician to provide dedicated IT support to a group of primary schools. The role involves maintaining and improving technology infrastructure in an educational setting, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing essential IT support to teachers, staff, and students. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with children and educators, have strong communication skills, and bring a solutions-oriented approach to ensuring effective technology use in the schools. You will report to the helpdesk team leader and be responsible for managing your own ticket queue ensuring all support issues are dealt with professionally and within SLA.

Required Skills & Attributes:
- Provide effective 1st and 2nd line support for users, covering PCs, laptops, iPads, printers, AV equipment, peripherals, network, and software.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Professional demeanour and communication skills, with tact and respect for safeguarding standards.

Principal Duties:
- Technical Support: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with ICT and AV hardware/software, including Windows, Mac OS, networking, and hardware repairs.
- User Account and Device Management: Administer user accounts, perform installations and configurations, manage device imaging, and provide Office 365 support.
- System Maintenance: Regular system housekeeping, anti-virus checks, and efficiency/security monitoring.
