Location: Kingston upon Thames
Salary: £38,110 basic salary + OTE £48,000-£50,000
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday-Saturday rota, no Sunday working
The Opportunity
Planet Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Branch Manager to join a successful and established automotive business operating across the Home Counties.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fast-fit automotive professional to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a busy branch, leading a team, managing performance and ensuring consistently high levels of customer service.
The successful candidate will combine strong commercial awareness with hands-on automotive knowledge and the ability to motivate and lead a team in a target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the branch
- Ensure branch budgets and commercial targets are achieved
- Lead, manage and develop the branch team
- Communicate company and branch targets effectively
- Monitor and manage stock levels
- Deal with customer enquiries face-to-face, over the telephone and online
- Maintain consistently high standards of customer service
- Support workshop operations and undertake hands-on duties when required
- Recruit, interview, induct and engage new members of staff
- Ensure company policies, procedures and operational standards are followed
- Lead by example and create a positive, motivated working environment
About You
The successful Branch Manager xgikmsk will ideally have:
- Proven experience working within a fast-fit automotive or tyre centre environment
- Strong knowledge of tyres and routine mechanical work
- Previous experience managing and developing a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proven ability to work towards and achieve commercial targets
- A hands-on approach to management
- Strong customer service skills
- The ability to motivate and engage a team
- A good understanding of operational processes and compliance
