We are supporting a leading global biopharmaceutical organisation seeking a Real World Evidence (RWE) Expert to join their team on an initial 6-month maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RWE professional to support the delivery of impactful evidence generation projects within a specialist therapeutic area. The role will focus on hands-on project execution, stakeholder engagement, and collaborating with internal and external experts to deliver high-quality RWE studies.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the delivery of RWE studies from concept through to reporting/publication
  • Develop study concepts, protocols, and support statistical analysis planning
  • Manage project milestones, governance requirements, and operational delivery
  • Collaborate with clinicians, academic partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Support primary data collection activities, including patient/carer-centred outcomes and registry-based research
  • Contribute to the interpretation and communication of RWE findings

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience delivering RWE projects within pharma, biotech, CRO, consultancy, or an academic research environment
  • Experience working with real-world data, registries, surveys, or patient-centred outcomes
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clinicians and external research partners
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Desirable:

  • Rare disease experience
  • Experience working with academic groups or key opinion leaders
  • Background in epidemiology, outcomes research, or evidence generation
