We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse and supply chain operation in Kent.
This role is ideal for someone with strong warehouse experience, excellent attention to detail, and a valid forklift licence who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for the safe movement, storage and distribution of materials and products, while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting day-to-day warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating reach trucks, counterbalance forklifts, stackers and electric pallet trucks
- Receiving and booking in deliveries from suppliers
- Loading, unloading and moving stock safely within the warehouse
- Picking, packing and distributing materials to internal customers
- Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory transactions within the ERP system
- Conducting routine cycle counts and supporting stock audits
- Supporting goods-in, goods-out and dispatch activities
- Ensuring all warehouse activities are completed in line with safety and quality standards
- Working closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when required.
What We're Looking For
- Valid licences and practical experience operating:Reach Truck
- Counterbalance Forklift
- Stacker Truck
- Electric Pallet Truck
- Previous warehouse, logistics or stores experience
- Experience using ERP, warehouse management or inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage stock transactions and inventory records
- Good communication skills and a team-focused approach
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced operational environment
- Experience within pharmaceutical, manufacturing or regulated environments
- Understanding of inventory control and stock management processes
- Experience supporting shipping and distribution activities.
