We are supporting a large, complex organisation in the search for an experienced Senior Executive Assistant / Business Support Manager to support a senior executive. This role combines traditional executive support with project coordination, stakeholder management, and strategic administration. The successful candidate will be proactive, highly organised, personable, and able to manage multiple priorities with discretion and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage all ongoing and upcoming executive commitments, ensuring priorities are realistic and well-organised
  • Manage email and other communications, including reviewing, triaging, prioritising, and drafting responses
  • Draft high-quality written materials including emails, briefings, reports, presentations, and formal documents
  • Coordinate meetings, including agendas, materials, minutes, and follow-up actions
  • Act as a delegate for the executive at meetings where required
  • Support project coordination and delivery, tracking deadlines and follow-up actions
  • Manage travel arrangements and expenses
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
  • Work closely with other support colleagues to ensure continuity and share best practices

Qualifications

  • Significant experience supporting senior or C-level executives
  • Degree-educated
  • Experience with day-to-day executive support including diary management, inbox management, external meetings, and project involvement
  • Proven ability to prepare briefing packs, reports, and senior-level documentation
