Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple research and project portfolios within RWE/HEOR.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, including scientists, business leaders, procurement teams, and external vendors/CROs.
  • Oversee vendor management activities, including onboarding, contracting, invoicing, RFPs, proposal evaluations, and change order management.
  • Monitor project performance, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and data governance requirements across all projects.
  • Drive operational excellence through accurate project tracking, reporting, and portfolio management.
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to improve project planning, reporting, risk identification, and operational efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years' project management experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, clinical research, or related environments.
  • Experience managing complex projects and multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors/CROs, budgets, contracts, procurement processes, and financial tracking.
  • Understanding of HEOR, or Real-World Evidence (RWE) projects.
  • Knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Planisware, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with financial systems such as SAP, Fiori, or Ariba is advantageous.
  • Experience using AI and automation technologies to enhance project management workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification is desirable, along with experience working within a matrixed pharmaceutical organisation.
