My client, a global manufacturer currently seeks a talented Project Engineer to join the team on a large term project. This is a pivotal role supporting the introduction and integration of new automated manufacturing equipment within a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering activities for the introduction of new manufacturing equipment and modification of existing processes
  • Manage full equipment lifecycle from specification and design reviews through FAT/SAT and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure compliance with technical and regulatory requirements
  • Drive technical investigations and continuous improvement during development and integration phases
  • Support production handover to ensure consistent performance, quality, and output
  • Maintain and update documentation in line with GMP, change control, and internal standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs (COGs), and enhance uptime using lean principles
  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with EHS policies and regulatory requirements

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment—ideally within medical device, pharmaceutical, or food production
  • Apprenticeship-trained or qualified through a strong manufacturing/engineering pathway
  • Experience working in regulated or high-volume production environments is highly advantageous
  • Strong project ownership mindset with the ability to drive outcomes and influence stakeholders
  • Familiarity with validation processes (IQ/OQ/PQ) and GMP standards
