Planet Pharma is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Clinical Trial Assistant to join a leading team in the UK. This role is pivotal in supporting the smooth running of clinical trials and ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact for the unit, managing front-of-house activities.
- Organize and schedule patient visits in line with study protocols.
- Chase and manage medical records to ensure timely availability for trial activities.
- Provide administrative support across the unit, including document handling and filing.
- Liaise with GPs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate trial-related tasks.
- Assist in communication and coordination with study sponsors.
- Support broader operational and administrative functions to maintain trial efficiency.
- Previous experience in a similar role at a clinical research site is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, healthcare professionals, and sponsors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Background in clinical research or healthcare administration preferred.
- Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines is an advantage.
