Its focus is on developing medicines that use mRNA to instruct the body’s cells to produce proteins that can prevent or treat disease. As part of a long-term commitment to strengthening onshore mRNA vaccine manufacturing in the UK, a state-of-the-art research, development, and production facility is being established in Oxfordshire. This initiative will support respiratory vaccine manufacturing, create highly skilled roles, and promote collaboration with academic institutions, the NHS, and government partners across the country.
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented professionals to support 24/7 manufacturing operations, with a focus on end-to-end warehouse and logistics activities. This Fixed-Term Contract position is essential to maintaining compliant, efficient material flow for real-time mRNA production.
You will gain hands-on experience with SAP, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and digital workflows—building strong foundations for future automation and AI-enabled operational environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive and process inbound deliveries, ensuring documentation is accurate and resolving any discrepancies.
- Upload delivery and quality records into the organisation’s QMS to maintain full GMP compliance.
- Pick, verify, and stage materials required for mRNA manufacturing in line with production schedules.
- Apply internal standards for labelling, handling, storage, and inventory control within a GxP-regulated setting.
- Coordinate timely internal deliveries to support live manufacturing operations.
- Perform daily SAP transactions related to inventory movements and stock accuracy.
- Support outbound logistics, including shipment preparation and documentation.
- Conduct cycle counts and reconcile physical inventory with SAP data.
- Identify, segregate, and manage expired or non-conforming materials.
- Work closely with logistics and operations teams to ensure seamless support across the facility.
- Complete all required training to meet compliance, quality, and safety expectations.
- Good experience in warehouse operations ideally in life science or food industry
- Experience working in a GMP / GDP environment.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Ability to lift and move products safely.
- Flexibility to meet operational demands.
- Strong attention to detail with a collaborative, customer-focused approach.
